Taylor Swift's latest tour of mega-stadiums across the globe kicks off Tuesday in Phoenix,Watch Sexy Assassins (2012) so she used her last warm-up as an opportunity to bring some fun and warmth to local foster kids.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Swift invited over 2,000 guests, foster kids and their foster parents, to attend Saturday's final tour dress rehearsal at the University of Phoenix Stadium. She even treated them all to loads of free pizza.
Oh, and they got to watch Swift run through her upcoming show.
While cameras weren't allowed during the performance portion of the evening, there was still time for photos and even a photo opp with Swift. Some of the parents then shared those photos online.

This wasn't Swift's only good deed in Phoenix, either. The singer took time out to visit 8-year-old Isabella McCune, who was left with burns covering 65 percent of her body after an accident in March. McCune was burned so badly, her bandage changes could take several hours, and she listened toSwift's music to stay calm.

McCune's burns will keep her from attending Swift's tour opener in Phoenix on Tuesday, so the pop star brought a little ray of sunshine to her young fan in a hospital visit.
Yes, these are the kinds of things pop stars do from time to time to give back to fans and, yes, generate a little good PR buzz ahead of big events.
But Swift is someone who does this sort of thing more than most, so it's good to see she's still up to her same, old charitable self, even if the "old Taylor" is, technically, well, dead.
Swift's mega-tour opens Tuesday, May 8 in Phoenix and probably won't end for a while.
