In an Instagram post, which has been watched nearly 80,000 times in the past day since it was posted, he adds in his caption the hashtags #veryweird and #notforme.
Fellow F1 star, the German driver Nico Rosberg has been spending time out and about on the streets of Singapore, where he's less likely to encounter mass Pokémon hunting.
On Thursday night, he took this picture with street vendors serving grilled satay.

The Singapore Grand Prix kicks off on Friday evening. It's the first street circuit in Asia for the F1, and was the first night-time race for the high-end motor sport.
