Chinese automaker Nio has announced a new flagship model called the ET7,En la intimidad and it hits all the right spots when it comes to specs.
The Nio ET7, scheduled to be launched in 2022 in China, is a 5-meter long electric sedan with tons of range, a powerful dual motor and an advanced autonomous driving system, and it's all topped off with a luxurious interior and numerous features for user comfort.
The ET7 will be available with three batteries: 70kWh, 100kWh and 150kWh, the largest of which should give it more than 621 miles of range, which is roughly 200 miles better than the best Tesla Model S can do (though it's worth pointing out that Nio calculates range based on the Chinese NEDC system).
Nio's new flagship sedan won't be as fast as the fastest Tesla, but it'll come pretty close. Its dual motors have a combined output of 644hp, and give the car a 0-62mph time of 3.9 seconds.

The company says the car will beat Tesla when it comes to autonomous driving (according to Nio, the ET7's built-in computer is as powerful as 7 Tesla FSD computers), though it's unclear what that means in actual real-world performance.
Finally, the ET7 is equipped with such niceties as a a 12.8-inch AMOLED center display, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, 5G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, a 23-speaker sound system, and massagers built into the seats.
The pricing for the ET7 starts at around $69,200 for the version with the 70kWh battery. The price for the variant with the 150kWh battery hasn't been released; that version should hit the market a little later, near the end of 2022.
