Let's get to theorizing, Thronesfans.
Ahead of Sunday, HBO has released 14 new photos from Game of Thrones Season 8, episode 2. From Jaime facing the music to a mysterious strategy session, this sneak peek doesn't reveal anything particularly unexpected — but in Westeros, where there's a detail, there's a theory.
Here are all 14 photos, with some light speculation from Mashable's investigative Thrones squad.
While this image is undeniably adorable, lingering moments of sentimentality rarely bode well for the Thrones characters in them. Here's hoping the events of episode 2 don't threaten this happy family.
Either Bran is set to have a plot-propelling revelation in Episode 2, or this tree stole his lunch money.
It's not clear whom Dany is coming to speak with in this image. However, based on the events of episode 1, we're betting it's Sansa.
Whether Dany's ready to talk strategy against the White Walkers — or just checking in to see how Sansa's recovering from that burn — remains unclear.
The official promo for Season 8, episode 2 places Jaime Lannister, also known as the Kingslayer, in a particularly precarious position. Pretty much no one at Winterfell is stoked to see this guy, and we've got a feeling they'll be letting him know that in a myriad of ways.
The next few images seem to indicate a round-the-campfire, strategy session between Jon, Arya, Varys, Daenerys, Jorah, and Samwell Tarly.
But, what are they strategizing about? Cersei? The White Walkers? Rallying the troops?
Regardless of the subject, Samwell Tarly seems skeptical of whatever plan is being formulated. Fingers crossed he's got a better idea.
Bran might also be in on the strategy talk, or he might just be longing for some more alone time in the woods. Who can say?
Everyone listen to this guy, please. He's pretty much the only character in Throneswho seems to be actively paying attention to the many, many threats closing in on Winterfell.
Ser Davos and Gilly are shown here having a serious discussion, possibly about Sam revealing Jon's lineage in Episode 1.
Episode 2 seems like a big one for Gilly. Here's hoping she and her son stay safe.
We're guessing this isn't casual banter about the harsh northern weather. Is Grey Worm headed back into battle?
Good for you, girl. Enjoy it!
Once again, the head of House Mormont of Bear Island is going to make an excellent point and it's going to take multiple scenes for people to listen to her. Sigh.
Game of Thronesairs on HBO Sundays at 9pm ET.
