Larry David returned to the Saturday Night Livespotlight this weekend025 Archives but things got off to a rocky start.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm comedian made some uncomfortable remarks about Jews and mounting accusations of sexual conduct by Harvey Weinstein, but he drew criticism when his stand-up monologue delved into an even thornier subject: the Holocaust.

"I've always been obsessed with women and I've often wondered, if I had grown up in Poland when Hitler came in power and was sent to a concentration camp—would I still be checking out women in the camp?" he said, near the end of his opening monologue.

"I think I would," David continued, before acting out what his pickup lines might be.

The series of "jokes" sparked outrage on Twitter, where people went to vent their frustration with David's bit. Most things can be funny. The Holocaust is not one of those things, and Twitter let David know.
