A small piece of fabric has made someone very005 Archives very upset.
Charlotte Wilkinson, who lives in Stokeinteignhead, UK, posted a photo to Facebook Sunday of an irate note her mother received from a neighbor.
Her crime? Hanging her underwear out to dry on a clothesline.
Apparently, the neighbor took issue with the undergarment hanging across the street from the town's primary school — lest the youngsters learn that many women do, in fact, wear underwear.
"Didn't know there was a law against hanging your knickers on the line?" Wilkinson wrote in her post.
In better news, Facebook commenters appear to be firmly on Wilkinson's mother's side. "Someone clearly has way too much time on their hands..." one person wrote.
A few noble commenters even told her to fight back — with more underwear.
Side note: it's much weirder to steal someone's underwear off the line than to hang it up to dry.
