Shane Dawson definitely is -- he appears more and more frazzled with every episode of his docu-series on Jake Paul. In part 7, he talks to Alissa Violet, Jake's rumored ex-girlfriend who has publicly accused him of assaulting her and revealed an ugly side of their relationship from her Team 10 days.

Alissa is a controversial figure in YouTube's circle of influencers; her public on/off relationship with Jake was rife with accusations of cheating, manipulation, and emotional abuse. She says that Jake didn't "physically abuse" her, but that he would roughhouse so hard during video filming, she'd end up covered in scratches and cuts. At one point, he dragged her down the stairs.

Their highly publicized fighting culminated in a messy breakup that resulted in Jake kicking Alissa out of the Team 10 house by tossing her belongings in the foyer and locking her out of her bedroom.

But as Alissa told Shane, they never defined their murky relationship.

"We never dated officially, ever," she says in The Ex Girlfriend of Jake Paul. "Jalissa was fake."

Although the two apparently never agreed on exclusivity or set romantic expectations, Alissa said that they would still hook up.

"I had chased him for so long, I wanted him to be my boyfriend," she tells Shane. He would brush her off and avoid the conversation, so "we never really established what we were."

While leading her on, she claims that he was also bringing Instagram models to the mansion under the guise of signing them onto Team 10. In an anecdote that sounds eerily similar to the #MeToo stories that have been revealed over the past year, Alissa says that Jake would sleep with the women and never actually add them to his company.

"It was like he used Team 10 to have girls over, and I never knew what I was with him," Alissa says, ranting that she would sleep with him, leave for the day, and come back to Jake in bed with another woman. "We were never dating. Ever. He was literally fucking girls in front of me."

But he needed her for his videos -- although they never DTR'd, his videos had better traffic if she was in his thumbnail.

Alissa confesses that she looked "so annoyed" on his channel not only because of their ambiguous relationship, but because she couldn't get out of Team 10. Despite putting up with daily mental abuse and pining over an emotionally unavailable boy, she was contractually obligated to stay in the house. She couldn't afford to buy a car or find her own apartment because a majority of the revenue went to Team 10.

The toxic situation took a turn when she slept with Logan, Jake's brother. Alissa claims that the rest of Team 10 left for a group trip to a ski lodge, but she wasn't allowed to go because Jake wanted to hook up with someone else and didn't want her "in the way."

"I was so pissed off, I was so hurt, I was so disgusted," she tells Shane. She went clubbing with Logan and ended up hooking up with him instead, and when she asked him to keep the one night stand quiet, he stuck to his brand.

"I'm a savage, I'm a maverick," Alissa says, imitating Logan. "I just feel like I was a pawn in their game. They're always trying to one up each other. I was just like, a goal."

When word got out, Alissa was slut-shamed by Jake's preteen fans, her former Team 10 roommates, and most disturbingly of all, Jake and Logan's father, Greg Paul. She says that Logan laughed while Greg berated her as a "whore and a slut."

Twitter users were heavily split on Shane's coverage -- some thought he was too kind to Jake in wake of Alissa's allegations against him.

Alissa, however, appears to have moved forward. She tells Shane that she's been trying to ease herself back into the world of vlogging, but that she thinks the era of YouTube drama is over.

"I almost feels like everyone's on the same level," Shane starts.

"Of owning up to their shit?" Alissa says. "Everyone's just exhausted, and we're over it, and we don't want to be faking it anymore. We just want to make real shit, we want to be cool creators and move on."

After seven tiring episodes, everyone -- Shane especially -- needs a vacation from the drama.
