Disappointed that Fast 9isn't coming 'til 2020?Western Archives Yeah, so is Tyrese Gibson.
Unlike you, though, Gibson is willing to publicly call out Dwayne Johnson over it.
SEE ALSO: 'Fast and Furious 9' is coming out a whole lot slower than fans expectedIn an Instagram post, Gibson accused his Fate of the Furious(and Furious 7, and Fast & Furious 6, and Fast Five) co-star of making the franchise all about him.

Gibson is so fired up, in fact, that he insists he won't delete this Instagram post even if "they" (presumably his bosses) ask him to. He also seizes the opportunity to take a shot at Johnson's Baywatch. Which, ouch. But fair.
Presumably, Gibson felt the need to include that stipulation because he hasdeleted Instagram posts about Johnson in the past. Just a few weeks ago, he posted and then deleted a lengthy comment asking Johnson to call him back, and pleading with him not to delay Fast 9.
#Tyrese is still trying to get #DwayneJohnson to hear him out but it looks like Dwayne still has him on read 👀
And in 2016, after Johnson alluded to unnamed "candy asses" who failed to "conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals" on the set of Fate of the Furious, Gibson addressed the speculation in a now-deleted Instagram post.
From the desk of #tyrese
Nice to know that we don't even need a Fast and Furiousmovie on the immediate horizon to enjoy some Fast and Furiousdude drama. We'll be watching to see if Johnson responds; in the meantime, pass the popcorn.
