Amazon's Fire Stick is one of the retailer's most beloved devices, and in this year's Big Spring Sale you can purchase one for under $20. With next to no effort, and usually a very low price, you can turn your TV into a smart TV, without having to spend hundreds of dollars on an upgrade — and that's why the Fire Stick HD is at the top of my shopping list.

SEE ALSO: The Kindle Paperwhite Kids is down to its lowest-ever price in Amazon's Big Spring SaleIf you've not heard of a Fire Stick before, it's a streaming device that plugs into your TV (or laptop) and lets you access a bunch of streaming platforms including Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, and more. It can even store apps and allow you to search the web. I'm a big fan of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," so this is the perfect product to make it easier for me to watch my favorite streaming platforms on my current TV.
It also comes with a remote with Alexa built-in, so you can use voice controls to search through multiple platforms at once to find your favorite movie or comfort show (and it won't judge you no matter how many times you ask it to play Gilmore Girls). And let's not forget, with this specific Fire Stick, you'll be enjoying all your favorite shows in beautiful HD quality.
