Master of None"Thanksgiving" was more than just one of the best television episodes of 2017. The Melodrama Archivesepisode, co-written by Aziz Ansari and Lena Waithe, was a triple threat -- a complex and beautiful story about women, people of color, and a fully-formed LGBTQ+ protagonist.
Which made its Emmy win Sunday night that much sweeter.

In her speech, Waithe spoke directly to her LGBTQ+ family, saying "I see each and every one of you," and urging love, acceptance and support (Ansari, who won last year, stood aside and let her do the talking).
