Among other things,Watch New Son (2020) Korean movie we live in the age of Wonder Woman, and that is at least One Good Thing™. Not only have the film and character become essential to the fabric of our culture, but star Gal Gadot could not be a more fitting figure to bring this character to life.
In a GQ profile that describes Wonder Womanas a "swirling vortext of goodwill," Gadot appears to be the physical embodiment of just that. With Hollywood imploding because of toxic masculinity and abuse of power, Gadot and Wonder Womanremain a rare source of good.
SEE ALSO: Gal Gadot delivered her 'Saturday Night Live' monologue in Hebrew"I'm, probably 60 percent of the time, still Gadoh," Gadot told GQof her Israeli last name which still trips people up.
As the profile notes, "It is not Gadoh. But it's also not quite Gah-DOTT. Her confusing advice is that the T is pronounced as 'a lighter T...a softer T.'"
There is something so staggering about this pronunciation that it's wrong even when people are actively trying to say it right, as in Gadot's SNLpromos from earlier this fall:
Our advice? Ga-dote. Try it out.
In the rest of the profile, Gadot proves to be perceptive and gracious, meeting her interviewer on the beach and teaching her how to walk like Diana in the infamous No Man's Land scene.
It's been less than six months since Wonder Womanreleased in theaters, but a rare blessing of 2017 is that we get to see her on the big screen again soon; in Friday's Justice League, even if the rest of the film is questionable.
