And now, free x rated movies wielding a steaming cup of presumably damn good coffee, here's David Lynch with the weather.
The legendary Twin Peaksdirector has been using his time spent staying at home during California's ongoing lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic to offer a public service. Sitting in what appears to be a corner of his home in Los Angeles, filled with odds and ends, Lynch delivers a daily update on both the current temperature and what he can see out his window.
It's basically the weather report if it was being recorded by Special Agent Dale Cooper for Diane.
"We've got blue skies, several white fluffy clouds, and a lot of golden sunshine," says Lynch of Tuesday.
As for Monday? "Here in LA, by golly, we've got rain, grey and gloomy with a slight breeze."
It's the kind of at-home weather reporting that fits the daily diary vibe we're living through right now. Yes, Lynch says the date at the start of each report, but honestly, they feel like they could either be 100 years in the past or 100 years in the future.
If you live in LA, these are highly useful. If you don't, they're just a nice way to mark yet another day at home during this time. Check out the YouTube channel to subscribe for a daily weather report from the man himself.
SEE ALSO: 30 years later, 'Twin Peaks' still loves us as much as we love itLynch also has a short film dropping on his YouTube channel on Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT, so he's got plenty more goodies where these came from.
As Lynch would say, "Have a great day everyone."
