If you weren't at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend (and probably if you were),Nathan Cajucom Archives you were likely super jazzed about the sheer amount of TV and film trailers scheduled to drop over the weekend. In a year without a big Marvel or Game of Thronespresence, these trailers still kept us on our toes and got us psyched for next year's entertainment.
Here are our favorite trailers from Comic-Con 2018.
SEE ALSO: At Comic-Con, mixed feelings on James Gunn's firing from 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'Shazam!could be a real struggle for the wrong actor, but Zachary Levi's charming and slightly sardonic version of this caped crusader who appears whenever a kid calls his name looks like it'll at least be a fun ride.
The sequel to M. Night Shyamalan's Splitand Unbreakable both catches up with David Dunn (Bruce Willis), Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson), and The Horde (James McAvoy) at an institution, under the observation of specialist Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson). She focuses specifically on the fact that all three of them feel like they possess superhuman ability, but can they?
There might be hope yet in the DC Extended Universe, where team-ups like Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justiceand Justice Leaguehave fallen flat but the success of standalone Wonder Womanstill wows. Aquamanintroduces a dazzling underwater kingdom, a reluctant king (hunky Jason Momoa, even with questionable wardrobe choices), and a rivalry that threatens creatures of both land and sea.
Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) heads to Paris on behalf of Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to fight the dark wizard Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). The trailer gives us minimal Depp (good), lots of Dumbledore (v good), and even a dash of charming No-Maj (Muggle) Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), as wide-eyed as ever by the magical world.
We feel the same way, Jacob.

Listen, if we're just talking trailers, Godzilla has it all: A stacked cast (Vera Farmiga! Kyle Chandler! O'Shea Jackson Jr.! Charles freaking Dance!), Millie Bobby Brown talking about monsters (as she does), apocalyptic visuals, and a freaking "Claire De Lune" playing throughout.
This creepy novella from George R.R. Martin is as chilling on screen as on the page.
The Teen Titans are going live – and explicit – in this introduction to DC Universe.
Give. It. To. Us. Now.
Rick and Michonne may be in over their heads when the show returns in October.
Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor kicks off her adventures this Christmas and she has not one but three companions along for the ride. Allons-y!
As if we weren't already looking forward to CBS All Access' hit space caper, Season 2 will add our friendly neighborhood Vulcan, Mr. Spock.
In contrast with the grimdark Walking Dead trailer, FTWD's return looks...kind of funny? We need the stress relief, so we'll take it.
If we've got to put up with more Danny Rand, at least we get a heaping dose of Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick). Andshe's still with Misty Knight (Simone Missick), so can we make Daughters of the Dragon official already?
Saul fans know to take their blessings, and the upcoming season may have quite a few. We'll finally hit the Walter White era in Saul Goodman's life, and though we won't see our core Badcharacters, we will see someone else from that time.
TV's foremost female superhero (we'd count Jessica Jones, but she'd probably hate that) flies back to the CW in October. We couldn't be more ready – and not just because the show is adding TV's first trans hero. Talk about super.
Universal's terrifying movie franchise will get a 10-episode TV run. The trailer keeps things generic, but by now we know the gist: For one day a year, all crime is legal, and it's scary as shit! So, uh, 10 hours of that, please.
