SEE ALSO: Interview: Chrissy Teigen, on how to definitively win the internetWhen she decided to try out a ballet move over the weekend, she ended up invoking the wrath of the internet.
In an Instagram video, Teigen donned a pair of ballet shoes -- given to her by her husband John Legend -- and tried a very difficult ballet move: standing en pointe. Wearing ballet shoes, Teigen twirled slowly on her tip toes with the aid of husband John Legend.
"I have been in love with watching ballet since I was young. I was given shoes from a performance John planned for me a few years ago," wrote Teigen.
"Tonight, I tried them on. IT IS HARD. Shout out to the ballerinas I love, and have loved, so so much," she continued.

Some of Chrissy's followers were impressed by her moves. But, many others expressed their deep concern for her wellbeing.
"U look beautiful but be careful sweetie because u can hurt yourself because you u did not build up your muscle in your feet first," wrote one commenter. "I would hate for you to get hurt or see you injured in any way!!" added another.
"Be extremely careful when on point it's very easy to break an ankle if you're not doing it correctly or if you have week ankles!" implored one concerned follower.
Teigen responded to her critics, stating that she was well aware of the risk of injury. "You can stop telling me," she wrote. "If only you knew the other 1000 bone-breaking things I attempt daily."
