While you're working on Watch Private Video Magazine 7the perfect shot of your cappuccino, others are using their iPhones to take award-winning images.
The best of these photographs have been announced at the 2016 iPhone Photography Awards, the ninth year of the competition. Thousands of entries were submitted from 139 different countries, with awards given out in 19 different categories.
SEE ALSO: This is 2016's best travel photograph, says National GeographicAustralians took out awards in the Sunset, Panorama and Others category, but the grand prize went to Siyuan Niu of China for an entry called "The Man and the Eagle."
Photos can be taken on any iPhone or iPad, with add-on lenses also allowed. Using a desktop image processing program like Photoshop is prohibited, but iOS apps like VSCO are permitted. Here are this year's best.

"They regard eagles as their children and train them for many years to hunt. This 70 year old man is rigid and solemn in front of family and friends, but when he is with his beloved eagle, the corner of his mouth would curve up," Niu said in a statement.
