Well, here's a brief update: He finally met the Pope.
This development is a long time coming for the former White House press secretary, who famously did notmeet Pope Francis while at the Vatican with his former boss earlier this year.

But this week, while in Italy for an International Catholic Legislators Network meeting, Spicer got his wish, per Americamagazine.
