Something totally weird and sex mature free videounique is coming to Netflix in 2018, and we should all get pumped.
The Umbrella Academy – a beloved, kickass comic written by former My Chemical Romance (RIP) frontman Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá – is being developed into a 10-episode series, to the delight of diehard fans everywhere.
The original comics and graphic novels followed a group of family members hellbent on solving a twisted mystery involving their father's death, while being the definition of dysfunctional.

His writing coupled with Bá's signature art style created a book that earned accolades and Eisner Awards – the comic equivalent of an Oscar or Grammy.
Way took to Instagram to announce this exciting development.

"I couldn’t think of a better place for the vision Gabriel Bá and myself had when creating the comic, and cannot wait for people to experience that world as a live action show,” Way said in a press release from Universal Cable Productions and Dark Horse Entertainment, the company that originally published the comic.
And yes, you read that correctly. Even though this may seem like a perfect opportunity for an animated series, The Umbrella Academywill indeed be live action. Seems like it may be a miss for source material so dependent on illustration, but we'll reserve judgement until we get a trailer.
For now, let's just rejoice that this is actually happening.
