The Model 3 has excellent visibility and a stark interior dominated by a 15-inch touchscreen that governs many controls." It's not quite a direct dig at Porsche, but it's worth noting the Taycan is very mucha sports car.
Tesla was also named the "best American brand overall" with its other electric options, the luxury sedan Model S and SUV Model X.
It's not all bad news for Porsche loyalists, though. The German automaker earned best overall on Consumer Report'sbrand report card.
