Ryan Boylan was issued a notice from his condo to get rid of Brutis the squirrel or face eviction. For Boylan the option was simple...the squirrel stays.
According to WFLA News, property management at the Island Walk Condominiums discovered the squirrel in April and filed a compliant with the condo association.

The association has a no exotic animals policy in order to protect residents and hey, a squirrel can be pretty exotic next to snakes and alligators.
And we all know Florida is no stranger to these weird pets.
WFLA Newsstated Boylan never told the board about Brutis or submitted paperwork that the furry companion was an emotional support animal until July.
The doctor's note shows further proof that the Florida man has the right to have an emotional support animal. He suffered from post-traumatic stress from a car accident back in 2004.
Boylan decided to contact the Office of Human Rights to send the association a letter stating the Fair Housing Act gives him the right to keep Brutis.
The case is still pending and only time will tell of the squirrel's fate.
