An anonymous New Zealand man has claimed a cool NZ$1 million ($724 000) in lottery winnings after a person cut in front of him in the queue.

He added "I guess good karma pays off. If that hadn't happened, they might have had the winning ticket not me."
So what's the Papamoa-based winner and his loving wife going to spend their milli on? So far, just one thing.
"The win has made it possible for us to buy a home of our own - we're so excited!" he said.
"We're not too sure what else we'll do just yet. But whatever we end up deciding, we know the win will make a massive difference to our family -- we're just absolutely thrilled,"
