A mere 0 days after his defeat,Naked Reunion (1993) there are already calls for Beto O'Rourke to run for president.
The Beto 2020 enthusiasm began, oh, four seconds after the Texas Senate race was called in favor of infamous soup clown Ted Cruz. It confirms what was already evident on Twitter and in our souls -- people are thirsty for Beto and they want to keep seeing him around.
Were the calls premature? Yes. Were they a coping mechanism? Also yes. But when a man who said he was the Zodiac Killer to seem more relatable wins over the rabbit-petting, f-bomb dropping, no-PAC-money-taking string bean of our dreams, we have to keep ourselves afloat emotionally somehow.

So will Beto run in 2020? Who knows, but at least we have a political fantasy to focus on until candidates start declaring their presidential intentions ... one week from now.
